J. JAMIE FISHER

Jamie Fisher is a seasoned litigator with extensive experience representing real estate and business owners in eminent domain and inverse condemnation matters. Additionally, Mr. Fisher has successfully litigated a wide range of real estate related matters including construction defect, buyer/seller disputes, ADA compliance, CEQA, landlord/tenant and unlawful detainer. He has also represented clients in real estate and business transactions.

On multiple occasions, Mr. Fisher has been recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine as a Rising Star in the area of eminent domain law. This prestigious distinction is conferred upon only 2.5% of lawyers practicing in the state. Mr. Fisher also received the coveted “Preeminent” AV Rating by Martindale Hubbell, which is the highest rating an attorney can receive for ethical standards and legal ability.

Prior to forming Fisher & Talwar, Mr. Fisher was with a boutique eminent domain law firm, where he played an integral role in obtaining tens of millions of dollars in settlements and jury verdicts. Mr. Fisher has litigated eminent domain and/or inverse condemnation matters against various government agencies throughout Southern California including the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), California Department of Transportation (CALTRANS), Alameda Corridor Transportation Authority (ACTA), Alameda Corridor-East Construction Authority (ACE), and numerous cities, counties, redevelopment agencies and other school districts.
