J. Jamie Fisher, ESQ.

Jamie Fisher is a seasoned litigator with extensive experience representing real estate and business owners in eminent domain and inverse condemnation matters. Additionally, Mr. Fisher has successfully litigated a wide range of real estate related matters including construction defect, buyer/seller disputes, ADA compliance, CEQA, landlord/tenant and unlawful detainer. He has also represented clients in real estate and business transactions. On multiple occasions, Mr. Fisher has been recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine as a Rising Star in the area of eminent domain law. This prestigious distinction is conferred upon only 2.5% of lawyers practicing in the state. Mr. Fisher also received the coveted “Preeminent” AV Rating by Martindale Hubbell, which is the highest rating an attorney can receive for ethical standards and legal ability.

Prior to forming Fisher & Talwar, Mr. Fisher was with a boutique eminent domain law firm, where he played an integral role in obtaining tens of millions of dollars in settlements and jury verdicts. Mr. Fisher has litigated eminent domain and/or inverse condemnation matters against various government agencies throughout Southern California including the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), California Department of Transportation (CALTRANS), Alameda Corridor Transportation Authority (ACTA), Alameda Corridor-East Construction Authority (ACE), and numerous cities, counties, redevelopment agencies and other school districts.

Mr. Fisher is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Real Property and Litigation Sections. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law.Mr. Fisher is licensed to practice in all state courts in California and the United States District Court, Central District of California and is a licensed real estate broker.

Vibhu Talwar, ESQ.

Vibhu Talwar is an aggressive litigator with more than a decade of legal experience. His practice involves complex business litigation and catastrophic injury. Throughout his legal career, he has assisted businesses and individuals in recovering millions of dollars. Mr. Talwar has successfully handled cases involving misappropriation of trade secrets, violation of anti-solicitation agreements, breach of contract, dangerous pharmaceutical drugs, aviation accidents, defective tires, and catastrophic motor-vehicle accidents.

Mr. Talwar began his legal career working for Judge Terry J. Hatter, then Chief Judge of the United Stated District Court for the Central District of California. Prior to opening Fisher & Talwar, Mr. Talwar worked at three of the most prestigious law firms in Southern California and exclusively represented injured individuals.

Mr. Talwar is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He graduated with high honors and obtained membership with the National Political Science Honors Society. Mr. Talwar received his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law. While in law school, he was a recipient of the prestigious University Scholarship and was also selected as an Alternate Finalist in the Moot Court Honors Program.

Mr. Talwar is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Consumer Attorneys of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association and Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles. He is licensed to practice in all state courts in California and the United States District Court, Central District of California.

Mark Fox, ESQ. OF COUNSEL

Trial attorney Mark Fox is a skilled litigator who focuses exclusively on representing commercial business and property owners in eminent domain matters. Prior to joining Fisher &Talwar, PLC, Mr. Fox founded and managed one of Southern California’s leading eminent domain law firms.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Fox has obtained tens of millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for his clients from various government agencies throughout California. Mr. Fox has represented owners of commercial property, multi-family residential property, farmland, industrial property, vacant land, special use property, and high-rise office buildings. He has also represented a full range of businesses including liquor stores, automotive repair shops, smog testing centers, recycling centers, motels, restaurants, night clubs, churches, industrial businesses of all sizes, retail stores, warehouses, multi-acre manufacturing plants, medical facilities, nursing homes, funeral homes, and various food and clothing markets.

Mr. Fox was born in Racine, Wisconsin and obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from Thomas M. Cooley School of Law. Mr. Fox is a member of the California State Bar and is licensed to practice in all state courts in California, the United States District Court, and the Central District of California.
