Chevy Malibu Recall

2010 Chevy Malibu – one of the vehicles listed in the recall.

In case you haven’t heard, last week GM announced a recall of 426,000 vehicles with potential transmission problems.

The recall of 07-10 Saturn Auras and 08-10 Chevy Malibus and Pontiac G6’s (with four-speed auto transmission) is blamed on a faulty transmission cable that can fracture and separate – causing the vehicle to roll when in ‘Park’ position.

Not to sound like a broken record, but a recall that reaches the owner of said vehicles is worth re-blogging to avoid potential risk of injury or worse.

If you own one of the above vehicles, GM will repair or replace the faulty part at no cost to you.
