Know What to Do With This Free Auto Accident Handbook

Auto Accident Guide

This post was written by Gene Maryushenko.

Anyone who knows me will attest to my curiosity. If there is any information available online that will put me a step ahead of everyone, I want to get my hands on it. This curiosity has driven me to take advantage of having access to personal injury attorneys and their knowledge of the law in auto accidents.

Everyone knows the basics of what to do in an auto accident, but I wanted to have an inside scoop of what I should REALLY be doing to get the maximum benefit out of the most unpleasant situation I could someday find myself in.

Before bombarding attorney Vibhu Talwar with my questions I had an idea of what I’m supposed to be doing if I were in an accident, but didn’t really know the details. For instance, I had no idea there was an auto accident “checklist” that you could follow to make sure you get the most money for your injuries. Doesn’t my insurance company have my back here? What if my injuries continue to bother me after I’ve accepted a payment? How much money am I entitled to and how is this amount determined? I had no idea what the answers to these questions were but knew that having this knowledge could have a significant impact on my life should I be injured in an auto accident.

The internet is full of information. However, most of it is unorganized and may not be pertinent to someone living in California as state laws differ. I wanted to find answers to my questions that are easy to understand, well organized into bullet points and steps and practical enough that I could keep a copy for reference. The handbook I created satisfies all of this criteria.

Luckily, attorney Talwar who is typically very busy, has taken time out of his busy schedule to answer all of my questions, come up with a list of do’s and don’ts and include some useful tips. I hope you and I never have to use any of this information but realize that it’s better to be prepared than to be willfully ignorant.

This free handbook includes:

  • A couple of reasons why you may or may not want to hire an attorney;
  • A printable auto accident checklist to keep in your car and follow in an event that you are injured in an accident;
  • Answers to questions regarding auto accidents and compensation;
  • Important tips regarding uninsured / under-insured insurance coverage;
  • And a simple-to-follow Do’s and Don’ts list to avoid many common mistakes made by injured people.
